Zen Idea
A Zen garden inside a light bulb (not photomanip).
Sand, stones, temples, crane and rake.

My series of Ideas is a social commentary on societies “throw away culture”.
The Edison light globe is a dead technology but one that had a massive impact on the world, with most of the evidence of this invention being simply trashed and replaced.

The Zen garden... well maybe it's a coincidence that I have to make a very important decision in my life right now, or maybe I just made this at the same time the changes by chance. Either way i am very happy with the result after a long time in the photo studio - A return to form perhaps?

I really like the reflective surface.
I think it would be a stronger piece if the overhead lights weren't reflected in the glass of the light bulb.

thanks :)
yeah, i agree about the reflection but it is pretty much impossible to photograph them without any reflection in the glass as it's a spherical surface, but i'll keep working on it.
