Tom Waits Idea

Tom Waits Idea is a portrait of the singer/song writer painted onto a light bulb.

Acrylic and in greyscale, there are two images of him - one bust and one of him tipping his hat.

I like to let my artworks create themselves and this one in particularly was a very smooth creation. The only problem is the shape of the globe which dose not lend itself to Wait's features (his eyes are a little close together).

My series of Ideas is social commentary on our society's "throw away" culture.
