Thanks to Brian Hamersly for photographing this for me. I was never happy with the original images. I love how he has made it look like it is floating in mid air. The only digital manipulation was a slight alteration on the mid-tones to show the globe outline better. And I cropped and reduced the image size.
My "Idea" series is looking at our society and our "throw away" culture. Obsolete technology with, this time, something beautiful that we value still beyond our generations.
