Crane Idea (purple)

An Origami Paper Crane inside a small lightbulb.
(This is not a photomanipulation)

My series of Ideas is a social commentary on societies “throw away culture”.
The Edison light globe is a dead technology but one that had a massive impact on the world, with most of the evidence of this invention being simply trashed and replaced.

This is not the first of the Ideas i have used origami cranes. The light globe is from the photography lab.

It actually reminds me of a phoenix. The gold tones almost illuminate the bird and give it energy and it looks as if it's sparkling. Great piece of work!
